Joe Fitzharris – President
Joe Fitzharris has over 40 years of experience in Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy, Shipbuilding and Repair, Offshore Oil & Gas, Marine Logistics and Construction Industries in the fields of Project and Operational & Quality Management and Government Relations.
25 years working in business management and corporate strategic planning with hands on involvement in commercial, operational, project and supplier management, corporate financing, government relations, quality, and regulatory approval fields.
18 years of experience in the renewable energy industry including Wind Development and operation, Solar installation and Energy as a service, marine renewable energy (MRE) support to federal and provincial government in the early development of the Marine Renewable Energy Technology Roadmap.
Joe is experienced in project management, government relations, project regulatory approvals, project financing and supply chain management services to the marine and energy industries. Specializing in project execution from estimating, planning, cost control, scheduling, project execution, along with the setup of related support services such as quality and risk management. He has experience in operational management related to shipbuilding and repair, onshore, offshore gas production facilities, and marine and land-based transportation operations. H also offers strategic, corporate, project management, government relation and supplier management.
Michael Festa – Chief Financial Officer
Michael has over 25 years managing all aspects of global corporate finance. From the renewable energy industry to the professional services and technology industries Michael has been CFO for organizations overseeing billions in revenue including being CFO for an $8 billion corporation.
Paul Keating – Operations Manager
With over 25 years of experience in the construction and structural steel fabrication industries, Paul Keating has built a reputation as a results-driven leader with deep expertise in quality management, project execution, and operational strategy—particularly within the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. A certified Lead Quality Auditor and former Quality Manager, he has developed and implemented ISO and COR-certified quality and safety management systems. His leadership in Lean Construction has helped organizations streamline operations and improve performance across complex, large-scale projects.
Throughout his career, Paul has held senior roles including General Manager and Operations Manager, where he has led cross-functional teams and driven business transformation initiatives. He has overseen the development of business intelligence systems, implemented core metric tracking frameworks, and designed software tools for managing manufacturing data—leveraging both traditional and low-code platforms. In addition to his technical and operational acumen, he is a certified Sales Professional with extensive experience in strategic business development and key account management. Known for his mentorship and strategic vision, Paul consistently delivers value across every level of the organization.
Scott James – Vice President
Scott has over 20 years’ experience coordinating operations and people in complex organizational structures. Scott has been involved in the university sector for most of his career as well as being the former Executive Director of the Sable Island Preservation Trust.
Robert MacLennan – Technical Lead, Electrical Systems
Rob is a Red Seal Electrician with over a decade of experience in the electrical trade, including specializing in renewable energy systems. With a strong focus on solar energy, Robert designs and executes photovoltaic (PV) array installations that meet and exceed CSA standards. His work combines technical precision with a commitment to sustainable energy solutions, making him a trusted professional in the growing clean energy sector.
Robert brings a hands-on approach to every project, from system layout and code compliance to final commissioning. His deep understanding of electrical systems and renewable technologies ensures safe, efficient, and future-ready installations.
